Wehner Wins Centro Bus Roadeo

Syracuse, NY- CNY Centro Bus Operator Steve Wehner is the winner of the 2008 Central New York Regional Transportation Authority Bus Roadeo. Wehner tallied 591 points to lead the way among more than 40 competitors.

The top five finishers:

Wehner, Bourgon, Justiniano and Nadeau will each advance to the New York State Bus Roadeo later this fall.  More than 40 bus operators participated in this year’s competition.  The roadeo competition tests a driver’s ability to maneuver a bus around tight corners, through serpentine curves and backwards into tight parking areas.  Competitors must complete the course in less than 7 minutes and are also judged on their safety procedures and appearance.
