Auburn, NY- In a continuing effort to improve customer service, Centro is moving its main transfer location in downtown Auburn from its current temporary location on Dill St. to, Loop Road in front of the Municipal Parking Garage. The change is effective Monday December 17, 2007.

The new location allows all Centro buses to line up on the same side of the street making it easier for customers to change buses. “This site allows our customers to transfer between bus routes without crossing any streets,” said Centro of Cayuga Operations Manager Bill Hutson. “It also provides a well-lit, safe location with access to public restrooms.”

Centro will have representatives on hand Monday to make sure people are directed to the new transfer location and to answer any service questions. New shelters will be installed as weatherpermits over the next couple of weeks. Anyone with questions should contact Centro information at 253-5765.
