New Call-A-Bus vehicles on the Road in Rome

Rome, NY- Centro has two new Call-A-Bus vehicles on the road in Rome, replacing a pair of older vehicle that have reached the end of their useful life spans.  The new vehicles allow Centro to continue its high quality of service for individuals with disabilities.

The new 24-foot vehicles feature air conditioning, the latest mobility lift technology and the ability to accommodate up to four individuals using mobility devices simultaneously. “These vehicles are critical to our Call-A-Bus service for individuals with disabilities,” said Centro of Oneida General Manager Ron Bucciero.  “We provide more than 11,000 Call-A-Bus trips each year.”

The buses were purchased from Empire Bus Sales in Elmira, NY.
