Introduction to OSCAR
Centro's Specialized Transportation Department provides ride services for senior (60+) Onondaga County residents through funding from the Onondaga County Department of Aging & Youth.
Seniors must be at least 60 years old and must be pre-registered to receive the service. To request an application, please call the Specialized Transportation Department at (315) 442-3434, Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm.
This service is offered to locations in Onondaga County to/from origins and destinations that are not servied by Centro's public transportation, from Monday through Friday between 7:00am - 7:00pm. This service is not available on weekends and holidays.
Effective: December 1, 2014
The number of trips per month varies due to the amount of funding available. Currently, eligible seniors may receive:
( 2 ) round trips per month
( 4 ) one-way trips per month
Seniors riding with the Onondaga Senior Call-A-Ride Program do not have a set fare or fee for the service. However, donations are accepted to help maintain the sustainability of the program.

(315) 442-3420 at least 2 working days in advance.
Travel training is available to newly registered OSCAR customers upon request. For more information, please speak with a Specialized Transportation Department representative when requesting an application or reserving your ride.
