Centro Service to Change as Route 104 Bridge Reopens


OSWEGO, NY- The Route 104 Bridge Street bridge in Oswego has been schedule to reopen on November 10th, 2008. Centro buses will resume route service across the Route 104/Bridge Street bridge and the following routes will now operate across the bridge: 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, #246 Oswego/Syracuse, and the Mexico/Fulton bus. At this time, Centro bus stops for the downtown area will return to the following locations:
-East 1st and Bridge heading west will be located in front of Subway.
-East 1st and Bridge heading east will be located in front of HSBC Bank.
-West 1st and Bridge heading west will be located in front of King Arthurs
-West 1st and Bridge heading east will be located in front of Global Buffet.
Only two city routes will change with the reopening of the bridge, they are as follows:
-2D route heading west- will leave West 1st and Bridge (King Arthurs), operate south on West 1st to right on Erie to left on West 3rd to right on Ellen to right on Hawley to right on Erie to left on 7th to left on Route 104 to Campus Center. Heading east will be the same, in reverse.
-1D route heading east- will leave West 1st and Bridge (Global Buffet) turn right on East 4th to left on East Utica to right on East 7th then continue on regular route.
As a result, Centro will discontinue the Cross Bridge Shuttle as of November 8th, 2008. ;
