Riding Centro

 


Reduced Fare

Senior citizens who are age 65 or older in all areas except Utica (60+). The driver must be shown either a Centro ID or a combination of a Medicare card and photo ID. Senior citizens may also purchase a Centro Reduced Fare Photo ID for life.

Persons with disabilities (the driver must be shown either a Centro ID or a combination of a Medicare card and photo ID). Persons with disabilities may also purchase a Centro Reduced Fare Photo ID that is valid for 4 years (must recertify every 4 years).

Medicare Card holders (combination Photo ID and Medicare Care Card must be shown upon boarding).

Children ages 6 to 9 are also eligible for reduced fare.


OSCAR

The Onondaga Senior Call-A-Ride Program (OSCAR) provides ride services to senior residents of Onondaga County aboard CNYRTA Specialized Transportation vehicles through funding from the Onondaga County Department of Aging and Youth.

Call-A-Bus

Call-A-Bus coordinates ride-sharing transportation
aboard CNYRTA Specialized Transportation
vehicles and specially marked vendor vehicles for
individuals who have been deemed medically
unable to ride Centro due to their disabilities.

Rides For Work Program

Rides for Work is a short-term transportation service for low income residents of Onondaga County who cannot use Centro to get to and from new employment.
