Centro Parking- Description of Operations

Centro Parking, Inc., a subsidiary of the CNYRTA, manages two multi-level parking garages under contract with the State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University at its main campus along East Adams St.  Under the same contract, Centro Parking also operates a valet parking service for Upstate's Institute for Human Performance (IHP) located on Irving Avenue, and manages the visitor parking garage located at Upstate's newly acquired Community General Campus. Management fees generated under this contract help subsidize the costs of our Centro public bus services.  

Centro Parking also sells monthly parking passes to individuals and institutions for parking at several lots located under or adjacent to the Route 81 overpass north of E. Genesee St. in the city of Syracuse.  Revenues from this aspect of Centro Parking operations also directly subsidize Centro's public transit services.
