***Centro Parking (under Route 81) Customer Notice*** UPDATE 8/4/2010: The Rt. 81 repair contractor has indicated that bridge work will continue for about another month in the Centro Parking U-Lot (between E. Genesee St. and Fayette St. along Almond St.). Centro Parking continues to sell monthly passes for this area at $35 plus tax for the spaces which are available. At this time we expect to have the full lot available for October sales.

Centro Parking- Description of Operations The CNYRTA, through its subsidiary Centro Parking, Inc., manages two multi-level parking garages and several surface parking lots under contract with the State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University along Adams St. east of Almond St. Management fees generated under this contract are used help offset the costs of our Centro public bus
Centro Parking also sells monthly parking passes to individuals and institutions at several parking lots located under the Route 81 overpass north of E. Genesee St. in the city of Syracuse (see note above regarding the partial use of one of these lots for elevated I-81 highway/structure repairs in the summer of 2010). Revenues from this aspect of Centro Parking operations also directly subsidize Centro's public transit services.
