***Centro Parking (under Route 81) Customer Notice*** Centro Parking received written notice on February 23, 2010 from the New York State Department of Transportation’s Real Estate Office that Centro Parking’s permit for the area located between E. Genesee St. and E. Fayette St. (Lot “U”) will be temporarily suspended upon two weeks notice in order to undertake a repair project to I-81 above the lot. The contractor involved in this project will be giving Centro Parking a two week notice before it will require that the lot be vacated. This could happen as soon as the month of April 2010, and could occur any time during the month. It is not known at this time when the project will be completed, but it could be as late as September 2010. We urge you to explore alternative parking arrangements immediately. Note that if you purchase a permit and the lot closes mid-month, Centro Parking will prorate your fees for that month, upon return of the valid pass for that month. During the project period, please check this website (www.centro.org) periodically for updates on the status of the project. We thank you for being a Centro Parking customer and apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you. The lot will be reopened as soon as the project is completed and the contractor is off of the site. If you have any questions, please call Centro Parking at 464-4539.
