Centro's Routes 140 provides direct service connecting Nob Hill & Thurber Street neighborhoods with Syracuse University and downtown Syracuse with continuing service beyond downtown to Carousel Center and the Regional Transportation Center. The route features service to the Syracuse University campus, University Hill hospitals and the Onondaga County Civic Center. Most trips provide service to Iroquois Nursing Home, Nob Hill Apts., Brighton Towers and the Loretto Geriatric Center.
Syracuse University students and staff with a valid S.U. ID may ride this service for free when traveling within the Free Fare Zone. The Free Fare Zone is the section of the route between Vincent St. and the corner of Waverly Ave. & S. Crouse. Ave.
