Centro provides direct service on Saturdays to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo @ Burnet Park on its Route #174 .

Centro Customers can also access the Zoo weekdays on the its Route #74, on the same line, which makes stops near the Zoo, but does not pull into the Zoo entrance.

Centro was once featured on the PBS/WCNY children's television show "Captain Kangaroo" when The Captain (Bob Keeshan) visited the Burnet Park Zoo in August 1987. A shot of the Centro Zoo Bus was actually used for the show's intro sequence for many years too!
