Overview
The William F. Walsh Regional Transportation Center (RTC) is Central New York’s one-stop transportation center for intercity and local travel via Centro, Adirondack Trailways, Amtrak and Greyhound. The RTC, which opened in 1998, serves the City of Syracuse and its neighbors, or approximately 153,000 people annually, by connecting customers to city landmarks such as NBT Bank Stadium (home of the Syracuse Mets) and Destiny USA shopping center. Frequent destinations to and from the RTC include Rochester, Niagara Falls, Boston, New York, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia.
Hours of Operation
The RTC is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Centro customers are advised to check their local Centro bus schedules for arrival and departure times to and from the RTC.
Parking
Parking is available in the paved parking lot located directly in front of the main entrance of the RTC. Short-term parking customers may park for FREE for the first hour. Customers requiring a longer stay may park their vehicle for a fee of $8.00 per day.
When departing the facility, customers may pay their parking fee using a credit or debit card at the automated gates in the parking lot, or cash / credit / debit at the automated validation machine located next to the Centro Information Booth inside the RTC. Security
Security patrols all Centro parking lots, however parking is at your own risk. The RTC is not responsible for any theft or damage to your vehicle. Please lock your vehicle and keep valued items out of sight.
