BOARD OF MEMBERS
 

The Central New York Regional Transportation Authority (CNYRTA), better known as Centro, is a public transportation provider guided by a Board of Members representing Onondaga, Oswego, Cayuga, Cortland and Oneida counties. Independent voting members are recommended by their local governing bodies and appointed to the board by the Governor of New York State by and with the advice and consent of the New York Senate. One non-voting member is also appointed from the labor organization that represents the majority of unionized employees, the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU), Local 580.

Heather Snow

Completed professional development programs including the Central New York Attachment Network’s Circle of Security Parenting Program (2023), Grant Writing USA’s Grant Writing Workshop (2023), and the New York Public Transit Association’s Public Transit Leadership Institute(2022). She is also a graduate of the Leadership Oswego County Institute (2024).

She has been recognized by the community through multiple honors, including a Certificate of Congressional Recognition from U.S. Representative Ed Royce (2014), a Certificate of Merit from the New York State Assembly (2024), and the Outstanding Corporate Volunteer award from Grid Alternatives (2017). Additionally, she earned a certificate from the Community Transportation Association of America in Applying Human-Centered Design Techniques to Transportation Design (2021).
