Service Information & Schedule Changes

Monday, March 3, 2025

On Monday, March 3, 2025 Centro will implement the following service change:

route modification

  • AUB 1: Eliminated deviation along Wright Ave on 8:05a outbound trip and 4:01p inbound trip.
  • AUB 3: Added Saturday inbound trip from Walmart at 8:10p.
  • AUB 4: For safety reasons, adjusted route to operate on Union St instead of Grant St in both directions.

Auburn Downtown Common Center - Dill Street

The Auburn Downtown Common Center, which serves as the main transfer location for Centro's Auburn buses, is located on Dill St adjacent to the Auburn Municipal Parking Lot, directly behind Cayuga Community College’s Lattimore Hall.

Customers traveling to the William F. Walsh Regional Transportation Center (RTC) in Syracuse have access to connecting service from the following transportation providers:

The Centro Transit Hub, located in the heart of Downtown Syracuse, is the central point in the Centro Transit System in Onondaga County. The Hub is the main transfer location for Centro Syracuse buses and also serves as a connecting point to Centro Auburn and Centro Oswego bus services.

    The 2nd St / Bridge St (Downtown) stop located at the corner of W. 2nd Street & W. Bridge Street is the main transfer point for Centro buses serving the City of Oswego, SUNY Oswego, City of Fulton, Mexico, and the City of Syracuse.

    On Monday, March 4, 2024 Centro will implement the following service changes:

    Service Enhancement

    • ROME CITY: The new Rome system redesign begins. The Rome 2, Rome 5 & Rome 6 routes are shortened and streamlined. Trips will now opeate at a 30 minute frequency. Service in the Rome 4, Rome 7 & Rome 9 areas are replaced with an on demand service called MOVE.

    Located in the heart of Downtown Rome, the Centro Transit Hub serves as the main transfer location for Centro buses serving the City of Rome.

    On Monday, March 3, 2025 Centro will implement the following service changes:

    Route Modification

    • Sy 40 For safety reasons on the #240 SU - Nob Hill route, changed route to operate in and out of Brighton Towers in the inbound direction only.

     

    Service Enhancement

    • Sy 20 : Changed the start and end times of the weekday afternoon #20 James - Lamson trips (five trips after 2:30p) to no longer be in the line-ups. 
    • Sy 26 : Added weekday #226 OCC Express trip at 4:50p from OCC to the Hub (operates on OCC Days only).
    • Sy 40 : Added weekday #240 SU - Nob Hill trip in the 11:40a line-up and changed start time of #340 SU - Drumlins trip from 11:40a to 11:50a.
    • Sy 48 : Added weekday #48 Morgan Rd trip in the 2:20p line-up.
    • Sy 54 : Added weekday #254 Midland Ave trip in the 1:20p line-up.
    • Sy 58 : Added weekday #58 Park Hill trip in the 11:40a line-up.
    • Sy 88 : Added weekday #188 North Syracuse trip in the 1:00p line-up.

     

    Time Adjustment

    • Sy 26 Adjusted running times to Community Hospital in both directions.
    • Sy 30: Adjusted running times in both directions.
    • Sy 76: Adjusted running times in the inbound direction.
