The Accessible Transportation Advisory Council (ATAC) is an advisory council to Centro, tasked with providing input on the accessibility of all transportation services and other transportation-related issues affecting persons with disabilities. Its mission is to advocate, advise and educate on these and other matters related to the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
Members of ATAC include persons with disabilities who use fixed-route and/or paratransit services; representatives of State, community-based, and advocacy organizations serving people with disabilities; agency representatives; Centro’s Chief Executive Officer; and select Centro staff members.
The ATAC meets on a quarterly basis to discuss Centro’s paratransit service (i.e., Call-A-Bus), and ways in which Centro can improve its service and assist transportation disadvantaged persons who utilize public transportation services.
In addition to consumers of Centro’s transportation services, ATAC is currently comprised of the following advocacy groups and social service agencies:
Feedback is important to Centro and helps us meet our goal of providing safe, reliable, accessible service. Any member of the community who wishes to contact Centro or a member of ATAC regarding Centro's accessible transportation services is welcomed to do so.
