New Schedules Effective January 26, 2026

On Monday, January 26, 2026, the Better Bus Oswego System Redesign will officially go into effect. This redesign improves route clarity, transfer efficiency, and overall service reliability across Oswego County.

Below is an overview of what’s changing and what’s staying the same.

What’s Changing

Oswego City Route Updates

To simplify service and improve navigation, several routes are being consolidated and renamed:

• Route 17 – Bridge St
• Route 18 – Sunrise West
• Route 19 – Brandonwood East

These routes will replace the following existing routes: 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 2A, 2C, and 2D.

New Oswego City Transfer Location

The Oswego City transfer location has moved to improve connectivity and access.

• Old Location: Bridge St & W 2nd St
• New Location: E 3rd St & Cayuga St

Fulton Route Updates

Fulton routes are also being streamlined:

• Route 14 – Fulton East replaces Route 4 – Fulton East
• Route 15 – Fulton West replaces Route 5 – Fulton West

Mexico Route Update

• Route 16 – Mexico replaces Route 3 – Mexico

Minor Schedule Adjustments

• OSW46 Route: Minor time and routing changes have been made, adding a few minutes to each trip to accommodate service to the new Oswego City transfer location.

What’s Staying the Same

The following routes are not changing:

• Route 10 – Blue (SUNY Oswego)
• Route 11 – Green (SUNY Oswego)
• Route 9 – Price Chopper Shopper
