More improvements to the Centro of Cortland City service are coming soon! The below changes apply to Routes 1, 2, 3, and 4 and will be evaluated for their effectiveness before becoming permanent. You can look forward to:

• Streamlined routing allowing a 40-minute cycle instead of 45-minute.
• More direct service to destinations as requested by customers and community organizations.
• Buses will stay out of the SUNY Cortland campus, but will provide access to entry points along the main roads.
• Increased total trip count from 16 to 18 trips per day.

We have increased the frequency of direct service from popular origins to popular destinations and back again including: 

Route 1 Riverside

Cortland City south and east sides to/from:

• Cortland High School
• Future site of Cortland County Mental Health facility on Port Watson and Pendleton
• Riverside Plaza 

Route 2 West Rd

Cortland City north and west sides including Friendship House to/from:

• Groton Ave SUNY Campus
• Hospital
• Medical Centers on West Rd
• Grand Union 

Route 3 Homer

Village of Homer to/from:

• Hospital
• Connection to all routes at County Office Building

Route 4 Walmart

Connecting all City routes at County Office Building to/from:

• Tompkins St SUNY Campus
• Cortlandville Plaza
• JM Murray
• Walmart
• Cortlandville Crossing

What’s Staying the Same

The following routes are not changing:

• COR 5 – McGraw - Willet
• COR 6 – Walmart - TC3
• COR11 – Greek Peak - Marathon
