VETERAN RIDE PASS PROGRAM

 

 

Veterans who use Centro’s bus service are encouraged to apply for a Veteran Ride Pass. Veteran Ride Passes are accepted on any of Centro’s regular fixed-route buses. The Veteran Ride Pass allows Veterans to ride the bus for FREE – any day of the week and any time of the day.

Who is eligible to use a Veteran Ride Pass?

Veterans from all U.S. Armed Forces and Reserves. 

 

How much does a Veteran Ride Pass cost?

The pass is FREE to all Veterans upon receipt of an authorized Veteran Ride Pass application.

Why should I get a Veteran Ride Pass?

The Veteran Ride Pass makes riding the bus convenient and easy. Recognized by Centro drivers and accepted at Centro fareboxes, the pass alleviates the need to present any other form of ID upon boarding.

How do I get a Veteran Ride Pass?

Visit your local Veteran Services Office to obtain and complete a Veteran Ride Pass application. Your local Veteran Services Office will verify your eligibility and sign off on your application. 

Once verified, bring your completed application to your local Centro facility to have your photo taken and Veteran Ride Pass printed.

 

Where can I use a Veteran Ride Pass?

The Veteran Ride Pass may be used on any of Centro’s regular fixed-route buses.

 

How do I use a Veteran Ride Pass?

To use your Veteran Ride Pass, tap the Pass on the farebox upon boarding. Be prepared to show the driver your photo on the back of the Ride Pass to confirm your identity.

 

Do Veteran Ride Passes expire?

Centro’s Veteran Ride Passes expire after 10 years.

 

What if my Veteran Ride Pass is lost or stolen?

Upon notification of a lost or stolen pass, Centro will deactivate your pass immediately. Replacement passes may be obtained at select Centro facilities. A replacement fee of $5.00 (CASH ONLY) will be charged for any lost or stolen Veteran Ride Pass.
