On Tuesday, September 2, 2025 Centro will implement the following service change:

Time Adjustments

  • AUB 1: Adjusted schedule times along the route on weekday and Saturday trips to Downtown.
  • AUB 2: Adjusted schedule times along the route on weekday and Saturday trips from Downtown.

Auburn Downtown Common Center - Dill Street

The Auburn Downtown Common Center, which serves as the main transfer location for Centro's Auburn buses, is located on Dill St adjacent to the Auburn Municipal Parking Lot, directly behind Cayuga Community College’s Lattimore Hall.

Customers traveling to the William F. Walsh Regional Transportation Center (RTC) in Syracuse have access to connecting service from the following transportation providers:

Centro Transit Hub (Syracuse) - 599 S. Salina Street

The Centro Transit Hub, located in the heart of Downtown Syracuse, is the central point in the Centro Transit System in Onondaga County. The Hub is the main transfer location for Centro Syracuse buses and also serves as a connecting point to Centro Auburn and Centro Oswego bus services.

  • Cor 6: Adjusted start time of final trip from TC3 to Cortland COB to be 5:20pm to help ensure connections with TCAT service.

    The 2nd St / Bridge St (Downtown) stop located at the corner of W. 2nd Street & W. Bridge Street is the main transfer point for Centro buses serving the City of Oswego, SUNY Oswego, City of Fulton, Mexico, and the City of Syracuse.

    On Monday, March 4, 2024 Centro will implement the following service changes:

    Service Enhancement

    • ROME CITY: The new Rome system redesign begins. The Rome 2, Rome 5 & Rome 6 routes are shortened and streamlined. Trips will now opeate at a 30 minute frequency. Service in the Rome 4, Rome 7 & Rome 9 areas are replaced with an on demand service called MOVE.

    Located in the heart of Downtown Rome, the Centro Transit Hub serves as the main transfer location for Centro buses serving the City of Rome.

    On Tuesday, September 2, 2025 Centro will implement the following service changes:

    Route Modification

    • Sy 54: Due to safety concerns and timing issues, eliminated routing along Bellevue Ave, South Ave, and Kennedy St. Route will now operate in Midland Ave in both directions in that area. 
     
    Time Adjustments

    • Sy 20: Adjusted start time of weekday 6:50 am #21 Sunnycrest trip to the Hub to be 6:42 am. 
    • Sy 88: Adjusted schedule times along the route of weekday 5:46 am #288 Central Square trip to the Hub.
